About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Government at Wesleyan University. My research explores how international organizations and the global economy interact with developing countries. My main projects consider the politics of foreign aid, the bureaucracy of the World Bank, and public opinion on trade. At Wesleyan, I offer courses on international relations, international political economy, international organization, and international development.

Before Wesleyan, I was a Fellow at the Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance at Princeton University. I received my Ph.D. from Columbia University and my B.A. from Swarthmore College.

My work appears in the American Journal of Political Science, International Organization, International Studies Quarterly, the Review of International Organizations, Studies in Comparative International Development, Business and Politics, International Interactions, and the Annual Review of Political Science.
